Kitten Catastrophe

The novel follows Bertie Fletcher, Jazz and Fergus. Bertie's cat Jaffa unexpectedly starts acting strange and frightened and so the children seek to figure out what is happening. They find a stray cat who's owners left it behind when they moved and so Jazz adopts the cat unsure as to whether her mother will let her keep it.

A potentially boring premise but good for children that either own or like cats.

Age rating for this book would be 5 - 11 though some 11- year - olds may find themselves too old or bored by the book.
