This book presents the emotional story of Nicole's death. We begin the novel with the unique and well crafted afterlife. Nicole finds herself in a place where she is told that she has died by suicide. Nicole doesn’t believe it for a minute and has thirty days to discover the truth. The rest of the book follows, in an almost detective fashion, the interconnected stories from teenage perspectives. No one character is deemed "the bad guy" they're all flawed and they're all struggling with something that the other characters aren't aware of.

An emotional roller-coaster and 100% a new comfort read for me (a teenager) I felt really seen and I connected with all the characters in one way or another. The twists and turns at each corner and even that which is still somewhat left unanswered by the end of the novel makes for a constantly engaging read and no "unnecessary chapters" that are often found in Y/A novels.

This is truly a Y/A novel,  unlike some novels that are aimed at teenagers, this one truly is age appropriate while still maintaining an intrigue and a lack of cliche's that would usually disinterest young adult readers.
